Troy's Pumpkin Patch Trip

Ok, yall. I promise I will eventually get my computer fixed asks do a real blog post. Until then, however, you will just have to bear with me and my droid posts.

A couple weeks ago, Troy's class went to the pumpkin patch and Audrey and I got to go with him. :) We all had a lot of fun! Petting bunnies, playing in corn, playing on the playground taking a hayride, and picking the perfect pumpkin! Then I got some pretty pictures of them in a cotton field. :)

Mommy's Helper

Audrey has such a good big brother! (well, she actually has two, of course, but this post is about one in particular.) Troy loves his sissy. Ty does, too, but he's not as into helping take care of her as Troy is. Just now he was trying to help me put a new outfit on her since she soaked the last one. He actually did a pretty good job for a 4 year old battling a reluctant 14 month old. :) I only had to help him get her still to pull it over her head and then do the buttons (he can actually fasten buttons, but she was trying to run away. Lol)

(and forgive the pictures being in reverse order. Lol)

Once Again...

I haven't forgotten about blogging, guys. I know you think I'm awful. I have several posts I have planned, but my phone has not been cooperating and my computer is still on the fritz. (Hopefully that will be remedied, as soon as I can come up with a little moolah.) We have been really busy with pumpkin patch visits, birthdays, halloween, school, unexpected surgery, and I don't even know what else! Look for some heavy catch-up blogging coming (hopefully) soon!

Trick or Treat!

We went trick or treating with Jeremy's sister and her kids, as usual. He only go to a handful of houses, all family. Look out for the monsters and the tricksters, like Pawpaw and Uncle Josh!

Say Wha? v. 2

Troy: "o-r-a-n-g-e, that's what orange spells."

Ty: "what's buried?"
Troy: "like when you bury up a cow"

Our babysitter who goes to church with us asked Troy how much halloween candy he got. He said, "about a million."

Jeremy had his gallbladder out Wednesday. Same girl asked Troy why Jeremy and I weren't at church Wednesday night
Troy: "daddy's got holes in his stomach"
Amy: "did you put your finger in them?"
Troy: "no, they're not big enough"

Ty: "We did cheers in the gym today."
Me: "did you holler loud?"
Ty: "Everybody else did. I plugged my ears."

I'm An Auntie!

Ok, so technically, I already was, but it's exciting every time, right?

My brother and his wife (mostly his wife!) had their first baby yesterday! Can you tell I am excited? I love all babies in general, but nephews and nieces are the best, after your own kids! ;) So thankful that all is well and Christie had a pretty easy labor and delivery. Can't wait to spoil him!

Say Wha?

They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. If that is so, my friend Deanna at Delirious Rhapsody should be feeling pretty good right now. She does a weekly deal called Gage says, where she relates all the hilarious things her son says and does. This kid is something else. You should really check it out! Anyway. I have decided to do the same, if for no other reason to have a record of how my kids crack me up for myself. For example:

When I was pregnant with Audrey, Troy told me, "you need to stop eating so much. Baby sissy is getting too big."

Ty: Milk looks like lightning.
Me: How are milk and lightning the same?
Ty: They are both white. Milk is white, and when a storm comes, lightning is white.

Ty calls the video "Mater's Tall Tales," "Mater the Tattle Tales"

(about a year ago) After Troy asked for his third thing to ready one morning, I asked him if he was growing. He got very sad and said, "no." I said, "you must be, the way you are eating!" To which he answered, "I'm trying, but I just keep peepeeing and poopooing!"

We passed a house where they had made a huge scarecrow out of round hay bales. Troy said, "Ty! Look! Look at that big hay snowman!"

And Audrey is at the point where it is funny to just say, "Moma! Moma! Moma!" Over and over.

Ok, so you may not think my kids are as silly as I think they are, but they come up with crazy stuff!

Our Camping Trip part 2

Here are some more pictures from our camping trip. We sat around by the campfire, played on the playground, went to the campground's arcade, played football with our terrific neighbors, and just had a really good time! Our last day we went to Gatlinburg for a little while, but all of those pictures are on Jeremy's phone (along with more good ones from camping!)
